President Donald Trump endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a second time on Sunday evening. The post appeared on Truth Social just days before Israel’s national election. Trump asked voters to remember that Netanyahu had served as an outstanding warrior prime minister.

In the message, the president described his working relationship with Netanyahu as a partnership where the two leaders had been winning together. He cited Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury as specific examples of their shared efforts. Trump concluded the post with a direct instruction to vote for Netanyahu to finish the work they started.

The endorsement followed reports that Netanyahu had intensified his efforts to secure fresh support from the White House. Two American sources told The Jerusalem Post that Netanyahu and his allies in Trump’s inner circle were increasing pressure for new statements. One source noted that they had never seen the prime minister act with such political desperation before.

An earlier report from Axios provided details on the recent communication between the two leaders. It stated that Netanyahu and Trump had spoken twice in the previous three days. According to an Israeli source briefed on the matter, Netanyahu suggested specific wording for new endorsements and proposed that Trump speak with Israeli journalists to repeat his support.

Trump’s post also included a warning about the consequences of a different election result. He wrote that if Israel chose a leader other than Netanyahu, America would have to handle the job itself. He added that he was not inclined to take that step. The Jerusalem Post identified this job as the confrontation with Iran.

The statement combines praise for the prime minister’s record with a direct call for voters to elect him. It also outlines a specific shift in U.S. policy if the current leader loses power. This public backing arrives at a time when Netanyahu has been actively seeking validation from Washington as voters prepare to cast their ballots.
