Mary Star is the only undefeated team remaining in the South Bay as the high school football regular season ends this week. The Stars hold a 9-0 record after defeating St. Bernard 57-21 to secure their second consecutive Camino Real League title. Freshman quarterback Ian Ditch threw for four touchdowns and added two more on the ground in the victory. The team plays at Carson on Friday.

Inglewood leads the local rankings at 9-1. The Sentinels clinched the Bay League with a 41-0 win over Leuzinger. The team receives a bye this week to rest key players like Lincoln Jahn, Elija Harmon, and Myels Smith before the playoffs begin. Inglewood awaits its CIF Southern Section opponent.

Carson also finished its league play with a 35-0 shutout of San Pedro. Quarterback Chris Fields III produced four touchdowns in the win. The Colts outscored their Marine League opponents 193-3 over the course of the season. Carson hosts Mary Star on Friday.

Torrance lost 54-52 to Culver City but posted strong offensive numbers. Quarterback Gibson Turner passed for 377 yards and five touchdowns. Vaughn Reinert rushed for 168 yards and two scores, while Isaac Mora caught 10 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. The Tartars travel to North Torrance on Friday.

Palos Verdes defeated Redondo Union 28-7 to extend its win streak over that rival to 16 games. Quarterback Ryan Rakowski scored three times in the contest. Palos Verdes plays Leuzinger on Friday. Lawndale, at 8-1, seeks the outright Ocean League title when it visits Hawthorne.

Redondo Union faces Mira Costa in a rivalry game on Friday. The Sea Hawks have lost their last eight meetings against the Mustangs. A win for Mira Costa, currently 2-7, would push its winning percentage to .300 and keep it in the hunt for an at-large playoff bid. Redondo is 5-4 entering the game.

Serra lost 21-7 to Chaminade in Mission League play. Quintin Washington led Serra with nine tackles. The Cavaliers play at Notre Dame on Friday. San Pedro hosts Narbonne to close its season. St. Bernard, at 8-1, hosts St. Monica after dropping its only loss to Mary Star.
