KCET released its Passport programming guide on Sunday, October 26. The two-week schedule includes a Spanish-language mystery, a Chicano art special, a Sesame Street nature documentary, and an independent film set in Nebraska.

The guide opens with a member-submitted review of the series 'Kraken.' Shari, a subscriber known online as SuperCoolPBSSoCalFan, described the show as an outstanding drama. She noted that the production featured a complex puzzle, strong acting, and moody cinematography. Shari said the story kept her guessing and attentive. She added that she continued practicing her Spanish even while reading the captions.

The second listing is 'VOCES ASCO: Without Permission.' This program focuses on the Chicano art collective known as Asco. The group spoke out against war and oppression during their active years. Members demanded recognition for Chicanos in museums and Hollywood. When that recognition did not arrive, they created their own work. The special examines pieces such as the No Movies, the Walking Mural, and the Instant Mural.

The 'Nature' segment features 'Sesame Street & the Great Elephant Adventure.' Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Nina travel to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. The group meets Nyambeni, a rescued elephant, and local keepers. The episode explains that a lion's roar can travel several miles. It also defines the Swahili word 'safari.' The characters attempt to take photographs for other Muppets, including a request from Oscar.

The final listing is 'My Omaha,' selected for the Independent Lens section. The film follows Nick, who returns to his hometown after living on one political side of a divided city. His father, Randy, holds the opposing view. Nick believes the media has misled his father, while Randy believes the media has misled Nick. The two live in a city divided for generations. Nick interviews his father and meets people on the other side of town while filming the documentary. The project took eleven years to complete.

The guide encourages viewers to support the station. It notes that the Passport series airs every other week. The current edition travels to Spain, Kenya, Los Angeles, and Omaha.
